Cyanoacrylate glue

Cyanoacrylate Glue

Glue is a new and innovative procedure for sealing larger varicose veins.

Its main advantages are:

  • Patients experience no ‘down-time’
  • Patients do not need to wear compression stockings
  • It requires only a single area of local anaesthetic

This minimally invasive treatment is an attractive option with a 97% success rate at 12 months.

Unfortunately, this procedure is not yet reimbursed by Ireland’s insurance companies.
