Cyanoacrylate Glue
Glue is a new and innovative procedure for sealing larger varicose veins.
Its main advantages are:
- Patients experience no ‘down-time’
- Patients do not need to wear compression stockings
- It requires only a single area of local anaesthetic
This minimally invasive treatment is an attractive option with a 97% success rate at 12 months.
Unfortunately, this procedure is not yet reimbursed by Ireland’s insurance companies.
